The staffer hadn't heard the news but was interested and impressed, especially when I said it had passed unanimously. I asked for the Congressman to respond by getting on board with H. Res. 333 calling for the impeachment of Cheney and also to sponsor impeachment against Bush. The staffer took my name, asked if I was an officer of the city council ("No! I'm just a citizen!"), and said he would pass it on to Rep. Van Hollen. The phone number to call Van Hollen's DC office is 202-225-5341. I called Van Hollen’s office this morning to let them know that the resolution passed last night.
